Woolyarns offer a unique and flexible yarn development service which allows us to build yarns to your specifications, in colour, count and blend. This provides the opportunity to develop exclusively in your market place with bespoke high-fashion garments and fabrics.
Lab matching facilities
We offer a full custom colour matching service. 10-day turnaround.
Dye house
We can loose stock dye a wide range of fibres in vats up to 450kg.
Blending
Our fully-automated, self-contained blending unit uses pneumatic transportation, and can blend up to 10,000kg batches of specialised natural fibres.
Carding machines
Our carding machines are capable of producing yarns of very fine counts. The cards themselves are electronically controlled to ensure greater flexibility.
Ring spinning
We can ring spin the medium to coarse counts needed for woven fabrics.
Mule spinning
Our Bigagli B7 self acting spinning mules are specifically designed for fine and delicate fibres.
Winding
Our Schlafhorst winding machines feature Loepfe Clearers and a hot air splicing yarn joining system.
Twisting
We use Volkmann for all plys and all our product ranges.
