Taking Responsibility

We take our environmental and sustainability responsibilities seriously. Our business is regularly audited and the products that we use checked for their environmental impact. All discharges from our factories fall within local regulations.

The fur we source for our Perino yarns comes from a designated pest, the New Zealand Brushtail possum, and is sourced from licensed hunters.

We recycle as much of our discarded wool material as possible, either into other uses or for specific industrial yarn blends. Cardboard and other packaging is also collected and recycled.

We carefully monitor our supply chain to ensure that the companies we work with are reputable, that their work practices are fair and that they work to standards we deem acceptable.
